Families are welcome at St James with St Matthews!

Sundays at St James with St Matthews are a great way for kids to get connected with our church. Some Sundays our children have their own club with games, activities, crafts and a bible lesson, and other weeks we have family worship, where all ages worship together.

We also have an informal cafe church which is perfect for families and kids of all ages!

Midweek Groups at St James with St Matthews

We have a number of groups and provisions for families with young children at St James with St Matthews. We look forward to welcoming you! At St Matthews’ church we have Supertots on Tuesdays and at St James’ we have  Prampushers on Thursdays, both are groups for babies, toddlers & their carers.

St Matthews Pre-School

We are delighted to have opened a brand new Pre-School at St Matthew’s centre. A space for kids to grow and learn in a safe, well-equipped space. You can learn more about how to join the pre-school by contacting Vicki directly on stmattspreschool1@gmail.com or 07599187744.

We open term- time only for children age 2 -4 years old.

We currently open from 9am -3pm although we are constantly reviewing the opening hours as we grow.

Groups at other team churches

As well as our own groups, we also link with St Luke’s Church on Knowsley Road for Teddies group for 0-4 years old and St John’s Church in Ravenhead for Toddle In on Wednesdays!
